Blue Cross Dog Digs for Arque!

Exeter Building Company, Arque, have recently commenced a project to provide two new extensions to the Blue Cross Tiverton Centre, which forms part of the £200,000 refurbishment works currently being undertaken at the centre.

Their works include updating the existing centre facilities, provision of a new cattery and an operating theatre.  The new improvements to the centre will enhance the works carried out by the Blue Cross in the rescuing, nursing and re-homing of stray or lost animals placed in their care.

Max, a Blue Cross Rescue dog at the centre, was desperate to get in on the action of the first foundation dig.  He showed great enthusiasm and an environmentally friendly approach to the excavations, but Health & Safety regulations prevented Max from continuing his works as he would not wear a hard hat and reflective jacket!

Arque’s Managing Director, Bernard Keogh, commented “At Arque we believe in team works and liaising closely with our client to provide top quality building work and an excellent service”.

Arque carries out building projects in the Devon area and have recently completed at £400,000 refurbishment at Exeter University and an £80,000 extension using sustainable materials to a property in Mid Devon.
