University of Exeter, Sports Health Science refurbishment

As technology has improved and the needs of the students studying sports science at St Luke’s has changed, the buildings have had to be adapted. This project involved the creation of laboratory areas and making the classrooms fit for purpose in two modern buildings on St Luke’s Campus in Exeter. The works, which were internal refurbishments, were focused on 12 different areas across the two buildings, meaning efficient project management was absolutely essential to its success. We drew on our experience of working in occupied buildings and working to tight schedules to ensure we minimised disruption to the staff and students.
